Ken Saito is a Japanese politician and former bureaucrat currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives. A graduate of the University of Tokyo and Harvard Kennedy School, he began his career at the Ministry of International Trade and Industry. Since entering politics, he has held several high-level cabinet positions, including Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Minister of Justice, and Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry. Saito is known for his focus on agricultural reform, trade policy, and economic revitalization. He has been elected to the House of Representatives seven times and currently serves as the chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party's Chiba Prefectural Federation.
