Masahiro Kohmura is a Japanese politician serving as a member of the House of Representatives, currently in his fourth term. Born in 1970, he is the son of former Foreign Minister and LDP Vice President Masahiko Kohmura. After graduating from Keio University and working at Dentsu, he entered politics and was first elected to the Diet in 2017. Throughout his career, he has held several key government positions, including Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Finance, Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, and State Minister of Justice. Politically, he is a proponent of Abenomics, supports constitutional reform, and advocates for the strengthening of Japan's defense capabilities. He currently serves as the Director of the LDP's Public Relations Bureau and Deputy Secretary-General of the party.
