Salim Sayegh

Salim Sayegh is a Lebanese politician and academic currently serving as a member of the Lebanese Parliament since 2022. He previously served as the Minister of Social Affairs from 2009 to 2011. An expert in international relations and law, Sayegh held a long-standing professorship at the University of South Paris. A prominent member of the Kataeb Party, he has been a vocal critic of Hezbollah's influence, advocating for the group's transformation into a civilian organization and the restoration of state authority over national security and public infrastructure.
