Salma Ataullahjan

Salma Ataullahjan is a Canadian politician and member of the Senate of Canada, representing Ontario since her appointment in 2010. Born in Mardan, Pakistan, she immigrated to Canada in 1980 and established a career as a realtor and community activist before entering federal politics. She is a prominent advocate for the Pakistani-Canadian community and has served on the executive boards of several organizations, including the Canadian branch of The Citizens Foundation.
