Teresa Wat

Teresa Wat is a Canadian politician who has served as a member of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia for the Richmond-Bridgeport constituency since 2013. Before entering provincial politics, she held a prominent career in media as the president and CEO of Mainstream Broadcasting Corporation and as a news director at Channel M. During her tenure in government, she served as the Minister of International Trade and Minister Responsible for the Asia Pacific Strategy and Multiculturalism. Originally elected as a member of the BC Liberal Party, she crossed the floor to join the Conservative Party in 2024, where she currently serves as a Shadow Minister.
