Nathan Horner is a Canadian politician serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta for the district of Drumheller-Stettler. First elected in 2019, he has held several cabinet positions, including Associate Minister of Rural Economic Development, Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation, and Minister of Finance and President of Treasury Board. Before entering politics, he worked as a rancher and an emergency medical responder. Horner has deep roots in Canadian political history and is a member of the United Conservative Party. He has announced that he will not seek re-election in the next provincial general election.
