Peter Singh

Peter Singh is a Canadian politician currently serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta for the electoral district of Calgary-East. First elected in the 2019 provincial general election and re-elected in 2023, he represents the United Conservative Party. Born in the Fiji Islands, Singh previously owned and operated an automotive repair business before entering politics. As an MLA, he has advocated for increased resources for seniors' facilities, opposed the carbon tax, and supported corporate tax reductions. He serves on several standing committees, including those focused on public accounts and resource stewardship.
