Shuvaloy Majumdar

Shuvaloy Majumdar is a Canadian politician serving as the Member of Parliament for Calgary Heritage, having been first elected in a 2023 by-election. Before entering the House of Commons, he held various roles in public policy and foreign affairs, including serving as a ministerial staffer for international trade and as a policy director to the Canadian foreign minister. He also worked as a global director for Harper & Associates and led the foreign policy and national security program at the Macdonald-Laurier Institute. Majumdar is of Bengali Hindu descent and is recognized for his extensive background in conservative political strategy and international relations.
