Salvatore Domenico Antonio Pogliese, known as Salvo Pogliese, is an Italian politician currently serving as a member of the Senate of the Republic. A graduate in economics and commerce, he began his political career in the youth organizations of the Italian Social Movement and later held various roles, including regional deputy in the Sicilian Regional Assembly and Member of the European Parliament. He served as the Mayor of Catania from 2018 to 2022. Since his election to the Senate in 2022, he has been a prominent member of the Brothers of Italy party, serving as the group leader for the 9th Commission.
