Sam Graves

Sam Graves is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Missouri's 6th congressional district since 2001. A member of the Republican Party, he has chaired the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure and is recognized for his work in aviation and infrastructure policy. Before his federal career, Graves served in the Missouri House of Representatives and the Missouri Senate. He is a general aviation pilot and has been noted for his conservative voting record and legislative effectiveness. In March 2026, Graves announced he would not seek re-election, with his retirement scheduled for January 2027.
