Sam Groth is an Australian politician and former professional tennis player. He served as a member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly for the seat of Nepean from 2022 until his resignation in February 2026, during which time he also served as Deputy Leader of the state Liberal Party. Prior to his political career, Groth was a notable tennis player, reaching a career-high ATP singles ranking of World No. 53 and holding the record for the world's fastest serve. He entered politics motivated by concerns regarding COVID-19 lockdown policies in Victoria.
