Sam McKenzie is an American politician serving as a member of the Tennessee House of Representatives for the 15th district, having assumed office on January 12, 2021. Born in Knoxville, Tennessee, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Fisk University and a Master of Science in physics from the University of Memphis. Prior to his political career, McKenzie worked as a scientist at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where he managed maintenance on the Spallation Neutron Source. He is the brother of former NFL players Raleigh and Reggie McKenzie.
