Sameer Zuberi is a Canadian politician serving as the Member of Parliament for the riding of Pierrefonds—Dollard since 2019. He currently holds the position of Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Diversity, Inclusion and Persons with Disabilities. Before entering federal politics, Zuberi worked as a human rights coordinator for the National Council of Canadian Muslims and as a diversity and engagement officer at McGill University. Throughout his career, he has been a vocal advocate for human rights, particularly regarding the Uyghur community in China, and has served on various parliamentary committees, including the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development.
