SAMUEL JD WATTIMENA

Samuel J.D. Wattimena is an Indonesian politician and senior fashion designer serving as a Member of the House of Representatives for the Central Java I electoral district since October 2024. A member of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P), he previously held governmental advisory roles as Special Staff to the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs and the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection. In parliament, his legislative focus centers on creative economy ecosystems, SME empowerment, and the preservation of traditional Indonesian fabrics and cultural heritage.
