Samuel Zager

Samuel Zager is an American politician and physician serving as a member of the Maine House of Representatives for the 41st district, representing part of the city of Portland. Born in Subic Bay, Philippines, Zager holds a Bachelor of Science in naval history from the United States Naval Academy, a Master of Philosophy from the University of Oxford, and a Doctor of Medicine from Harvard Medical School. Prior to his legislative career, he served as an intelligence officer in the United States Navy from 1998 to 2004 and worked as a family physician at Martin's Point Health Care. He has also contributed to medical education and community health initiatives, including serving as a professor at the Tufts University School of Medicine.
