Sandra Gockel

Sandra Gockel is a German politician and member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). Since 2022, she has served as a member of the Landtag of Saxony, where she also holds the position of deputy parliamentary group leader. Before entering politics, Gockel had a distinguished career in education, serving as a teacher and school administrator, including as the founding principal of the Ehrenfried-Walther-von-Tschirnhaus-Gymnasium in Dresden. She is active in regional party leadership and serves as the president of the German Red Cross district association in Pirna.
