Sanitiar Burhanuddin

Sanitiar Burhanuddin is an Indonesian legal professional serving as the Attorney General of Indonesia since October 2019. A career prosecutor, he previously held various regional roles, including head of the North Maluku and South Sulawesi Provincial Prosecutor's Offices, and served as the Deputy Attorney General for Civil and State Administration. Before his current appointment, he was the President Commissioner of PT Hutama Karya. Burhanuddin has faced public scrutiny regarding his handling of historical human rights cases and recent corruption investigations, maintaining that his office operates independently despite his brother's political affiliations.
