Sanjay Singh Gangwar

Sanjay Singh Gangwar is an Indian politician currently serving as a member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly representing the Pilibhit constituency. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he also holds the position of Minister of State in the second Yogi Adityanath ministry, where he oversees the portfolios of Sugarcane Development and Sugar Mills. Previously associated with the Bahujan Samaj Party, Gangwar has been a prominent political figure in the region since his election in 2017. He has occasionally drawn public attention for his unconventional views regarding the health benefits of cow shelters.
