Saqib Bhatti is a British Conservative Party politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Meriden and Solihull East since 2024, having previously represented the constituency of Meriden since 2019. An accountant by profession, he formerly served as the President of the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce and founded the Muslims for Britain group. Within the Shadow Government, he has held various ministerial roles, including Shadow Minister for Science, Innovation and Technology, and currently serves as the Shadow Minister for Education. He was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in 2020 for his contributions to diversity and inclusion in the business community.
