Sara Duterte

Sara Duterte is a Filipino lawyer and politician currently serving as the 15th Vice President of the Philippines. The daughter of former President Rodrigo Duterte, she previously served as the mayor of Davao City for multiple terms, where she gained national prominence for her local governance programs and crisis management. A member of the Lakas–CMD party, she was elected to the vice presidency in 2022 as part of the UniTeam alliance. Her tenure has been marked by significant political shifts, including her resignation as Secretary of Education in 2024 and her subsequent announcement of a presidential candidacy for the 2028 election.
