Sarabjeet Singh Khalsa

Sarabjeet Singh Khalsa is an Indian politician serving as a Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha for the Faridkot constituency since 2024. He is the son of Beant Singh, one of the assassins of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, and Bimal Kaur Khalsa, a former Member of Parliament. Before his successful election in 2024 as an independent candidate, Khalsa made several unsuccessful bids for office, including runs for the Lok Sabha in 2004, 2009, and 2014, as well as a campaign for the Punjab Legislative Assembly in 2007. His political career is noted for his independent stance and his family's historical background in Punjab politics.
