Sarah Edwards

Sarah Edwards is a British Labour Party politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Tamworth since winning a by-election in 2023. Before entering Parliament, she worked as a union organiser for Unite the Union and held roles in fundraising and events for Oxfam. She also served as a governor for the National Health Service. Since her election, she has been involved in significant local and national debates, including issues surrounding the housing of asylum seekers in her constituency and legislative discussions on assisted suicide. She was re-elected to her seat in the 2024 general election.
