Sarah Finger McDonald is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Oregon House of Representatives for the 16th district, which encompasses the city of Corvallis and surrounding areas in Benton County. Before her election to the state legislature, she served on the Corvallis school board and founded the local chapter of Moms Demand Action. A survivor of colon cancer, she has been open about her ongoing health challenges while beginning her legislative career. She assumed office in 2025 after winning a competitive Democratic primary and the subsequent general election.
