Saravanan Murugan is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Tapah since 2008. A prominent member of the Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC), he has held several ministerial and deputy ministerial positions, including Minister of Human Resources from 2020 to 2022, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, and Deputy Minister of Federal Territories. Throughout his career, he has been a key figure within the Barisan Nasional coalition and continues to serve as the Deputy President of the MIC.
