Sarfaraz Ahmad

Sarfaraz Ahmad is an Indian politician from the state of Jharkhand and a member of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM). He has a long history of service in the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly, having represented the Gandey constituency in 1980, 2009, and 2019. Although he resigned from his seat in the Legislative Assembly in January 2024, he remains active in national politics and has been elected as the leader of the JMM parliamentary group in the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of India's Parliament.
