Saroj Kureel is an Indian politician currently serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for the Ghatampur constituency in Uttar Pradesh. A member of the Apna Dal (Soneylal) party, she secured her seat in the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly election by defeating her opponent from the Samajwadi Party. Prior to her successful 2022 campaign, Kureel had contested assembly elections in 2012 and 2017 as a candidate for the Bahujan Samaj Party. She is a post-graduate and the daughter-in-law of former Janata Party MP Jwala Prasad Kureel.
