Satish Mahana is an Indian politician currently serving as the 18th Speaker of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, a position he has held since 2022. An eight-time Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA), he has represented the Maharajpur constituency since 2012, having previously served the Kanpur Cantt area. Throughout his extensive political career, Mahana has held various ministerial roles, including Cabinet Minister for Industrial Development in the Yogi Adityanath government. He is a long-standing member of the Bharatiya Janata Party and was formerly associated with the Bajrang Dal youth wing.
