Satish Poonia

Satish Poonia is an Indian politician and a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He previously served as the president of the BJP's Rajasthan unit and held the position of deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. Elected to the 15th Rajasthan Assembly from the Amber constituency in 2018, he has played a significant role in state-level party organization, including serving as the state in-charge for Haryana during the 2024 assembly elections. He holds a PhD in geography from the University of Rajasthan.
