西村賢

Satoshi Nishimura is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Hyuga City in Miyazaki Prefecture. Born in Hyuga, he graduated from Kagawa University with a master's degree in agriculture. Before his election as mayor in 2024, he served five terms as a member of the Miyazaki Prefectural Assembly, where he held positions including youth bureau chief for the Liberal Democratic Party's prefectural chapter. He began his career as a secretary to a member of the House of Representatives and has since transitioned into local executive leadership.
