Scott Anderson

Scott Anderson is a Canadian politician currently serving as the Member of Parliament for the electoral district of Vernon—Lake Country—Monashee, having been elected in the 2025 federal election. Prior to his federal service, he was a member of the Vernon city council from 2014 to 2022 and served as the interim leader of the Conservative Party of British Columbia from 2017 to 2019. In early 2026, Anderson publicly reaffirmed his commitment to the Conservative Party after reporting that he had been approached by the Liberal Party to cross the floor.
