Scott Krug

Scott Krug is an American politician and realtor serving as a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 72nd district since 2011. A member of the Republican Party, he has held various leadership roles, including serving as the chair of the Assembly Committee on Campaigns and Elections and later as Assistant Majority Leader. Throughout his tenure, Krug has been noted for his pragmatic approach to election policy and his occasional willingness to break with party lines on issues such as education funding and rehabilitative justice. Before his political career, he worked in law enforcement and as a discharge planner for the Wood County jail.
