Scott McInnis is a Canadian politician serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia for the electoral district of Columbia River-Revelstoke since 2024. A former educator and school principal with a 15-year career in the public and independent school systems, he transitioned into politics following his involvement in the 2022 Teacher Institute for Parliamentary Democracy. After being elected as a member of the Conservative Party, he was appointed to the shadow cabinet as the critic for Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation. McInnis is also known for his long-standing community leadership, including his work as a basketball coach and volunteer in Kimberley, British Columbia.
