Sebastian Haug

Sebastian Haug is a German politician and lawyer who has served as a member of the Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia since 2022, representing the constituency of Solingen I. Born in 1974 in Haan, he studied history, English, and German literature before pursuing a legal career, eventually becoming a specialist lawyer for tenancy and residential property law. Haug has been active in local politics in Solingen since 2004, serving on the city council and as the chairman of the local CDU branch since 2015. He is also involved in various cultural and civic organizations, including the Botanical Garden Solingen and the local traffic safety association.
