Sergey Anastasov is a Moldovan politician currently serving as the Mayor of Comrat, the capital city of the autonomous region of Gagauzia. First elected to the position in 2015 on a ticket from the Our Party (Partidul Nostru), he has since secured re-election, including a successful campaign as an independent candidate in 2023. Throughout his tenure, he has focused on local governance and regional development, advocating for the organization of elections to resolve political impasses within the Gagauz People's Assembly. He remains a prominent figure in the local administration of the Gagauz-Yeri autonomous unit.
