Sergio Edgardo Acevedo is an Argentine politician currently serving as a National Deputy for Santa Cruz Province. A lawyer by profession, he previously held the office of Governor of Santa Cruz from 2003 to 2006 and served as the Secretary of Intelligence under President Eduardo Duhalde. Throughout his career, Acevedo has held various roles including mayor of Pico Truncado and provincial deputy. After resigning as governor amid political tensions with the national government, he became a vocal critic of the Kirchner administration and established the Santa Cruz Coalition to organize opposition forces.
