Sergio Carlos Matos Castro is a Spanish politician and educator who served as a member of the Congress of Deputies of Spain. He previously held the position of Mayor of Santa Cruz de La Palma for two terms between 2011 and 2019 and served as a Senator in the Spanish Cortes Generales. Additionally, he worked as the Coordinator of Social Action for the La Palma volcano relief office from 2021 to 2023. Matos resigned from his parliamentary seat in December 2024 for personal reasons.
