Sergio Giordani is an Italian politician and business executive who has served as the Mayor of Padua since 2017 and as the President of the Province of Padua since 2022. Before entering politics, he had a prominent career in the retail and sports management sectors, notably serving as the president of the football club Calcio Padova from 1994 to 1996. A former electrical engineering technician, he held leadership roles in various commercial organizations, including the Chamber of Commerce of Padua. Giordani was first elected mayor in 2017 with the support of a center-left coalition and was re-elected in 2022.
