Serhiy Soboliev is a Ukrainian politician and a long-serving People's Deputy of Ukraine, having been elected to multiple convocations of the Verkhovna Rada since 1990. A member of the Batkivshchyna party, he has held various leadership roles, including deputy head of the parliamentary faction and deputy leader of the party. Throughout his career, he has been a prominent advocate for legislative reforms, including his role in drafting the Constitution of Ukraine and legislation regarding the legal status of temporarily occupied territories. He has also served as a representative of the President in the Verkhovna Rada and as a member of the Ukrainian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
