Seyit Torun is a Turkish economist and politician currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly for Ordu. A member of the Republican People's Party (CHP), he was first elected to parliament in the June 2015 general election and has been re-elected in subsequent cycles. Born in Ordu in 1968, he graduated from Atatürk University in 1990 before embarking on his political career. He continues to represent his constituency in the Turkish legislature.
