Shailesh Parmar

Shailesh Manharbhai Parmar is an Indian politician currently serving as a member of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly. A member of the Indian National Congress, he has represented the Danilimda constituency since 2012, having previously served the Shaher Kotda constituency after his election in 2007. His political career has been marked by his focus on representing Scheduled Caste communities. In 2013, he successfully navigated a legal challenge regarding the validity of his caste certificate, which was dismissed by a local court.
