Shakti Bahadur Basnet

Shakti Bahadur Basnet is a Nepalese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives of Nepal. Throughout his career, he has held several high-level ministerial positions, including Minister of Forest and Environment, Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Minister of Home Affairs, and Minister of Health and Population. A long-time member of the Nepal Communist Party, he began his political career in 1990 and has been a prominent figure in national governance, focusing on policy areas such as environmental sustainability and public security.
