Shamim Kaisar Lincoln

Shamim Kaisar Lincoln is a Bangladeshi politician and Member of the Jatiya Sangsad representing the Gaibandha-4 constituency for the Bangladesh Nationalist Party. Born in Gobindaganj Upazila on February 23, 1980, he entered politics and was first elected to parliament in a May 2006 by-election following the death of his father, Abdul Mottaleb Akanda. Professionally a businessman, he completed his education at Motijheel Ideal School and College, Dhaka College, and North South University, earning both BBA and MBA degrees, alongside studies in Malaysia and NIIT. After an unsuccessful run as an independent candidate in 2008, he returned to parliament by winning the Gaibandha-4 seat again in the 2006 and 2026 general elections.
