Shannon Latham

Shannon Latham is an American politician serving as a member of the Iowa House of Representatives for the 55th district. Elected in November 2020 and assuming office in January 2021, she currently serves as the vice chair of the House Appropriations Committee. Before her legislative career, Latham worked as a lobbyist, director of legislative affairs for the Agribusiness Association of Iowa, and as an agriculture program coordinator for the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship. She also held a position as a public relations specialist for Meyocks & Priebe Advertising and previously ran for the Iowa Senate in 2018.
