Sharon Bowles, Baroness Bowles of Berkhamsted, is a British politician and life peer who currently serves as a member of the House of Lords. Previously, she was a prominent Member of the European Parliament for South East England from 2005 to 2014, where she chaired the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs and was widely recognized for her influence on European Union financial regulation. Before her political career, she worked as a European patent attorney. She was created a life peer in 2015.
