Shas Sheehan, Baroness Sheehan

Shas Sheehan, Baroness Sheehan, is a British politician and life peer who has served as a member of the House of Lords since 2015. Born in Lahore, Pakistan, she migrated to the United Kingdom as a child and graduated from Imperial College London. Before her appointment to the House of Lords, she served as a councillor for Kew from 2006 to 2010 and stood as a parliamentary candidate for Wimbledon. In the House of Lords, she has contributed to various committees, including the Science and Technology Committee, and became chair of the Environment and Climate Change Committee in 2024.
