Shibli Faraz is a Pakistani politician who served as the Leader of the Opposition in the Senate of Pakistan from April 2024 until his disqualification in August 2025. A member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, he previously held cabinet positions as the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting and Minister of Science and Technology, as well as serving as the Leader of the House in the Senate. Before entering politics, he worked as an investment banker, civil servant, and pilot in the Pakistan Air Force.
