Shin Nasukawa is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the Iwate Prefectural Assembly. First elected to the assembly in 2011, he previously served six terms as a member of the Hanamaki City Council starting in 1995. A graduate of Hosei University, he has held various leadership roles within the assembly, including chair of the Special Committee on the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Reconstruction. His policy focus includes regional revitalization, disaster prevention, and the realization of a prosperous 'Kibo-go Iwate' (Hope-filled Iwate).
