若山慎司

Shinji Wakayama is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives for the Aichi 10th district. He previously worked as a policy secretary for Diet member Tetsuma Esaki before entering electoral politics. Wakayama was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2024 via proportional representation and subsequently won his seat in the single-seat constituency in 2026. He currently serves as a Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Cabinet Office in the second Takai Cabinet, focusing on national policy and regional development.
