庄子賢一

Kenichi Shoji is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives. Born in Sendai, he began his career in the private sector before entering politics, serving five consecutive terms in the Miyagi Prefectural Assembly starting in 2003. He was first elected to the national Diet in 2021. Throughout his tenure, he has held significant roles, including serving as the Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in the first and second Ishiba cabinets. He continues to represent the Tohoku proportional block, focusing on regional development and agricultural policy.
