Shriti Vadera, Baroness Vadera is a Ugandan-born British life peer, investment banker, and former government minister. Educated at Oxford, she spent over 14 years at UBS Warburg before serving as a government adviser and minister in the Cabinet Office and the Department for International Development under Gordon Brown. Since leaving government, she has held prominent roles in the private sector, including as chair of Prudential plc and Santander UK. She currently serves as a member of the House of Lords and has been involved in high-level advisory roles for international organizations, including the World Bank.
